Presenting the LMU Munich Amgen Scholars in 2026
Welcome to the 2026 cohort of the Amgen Scholars Programme at LMU Munich!

This year have welcomed 11 scholars to the Amgen Scholars Programme in Munich. Selected from close to 600 applicants, the group this year brings a total of 10 nationalities into the programme. The participants are paired with 11 host labs at LMU Munich, TUM, the LMU Klinikum, the Institute for Stroke and Dementia Research (ISD), and the Helmholtz Center Munich.
The programme started with our traditional Opening Retreat in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where scholars are introduced to the LMU site staff, affiliated faculty, and relevant research topics, before joining the labs on June 30th.
