Presenting the LMU Munich Amgen Scholars in 2024

This year we will welcome 12 scholars to the Amgen Scholars Programme in Munich. Selected from close to 500 applicants, the group this year brings a total of 11 nationalities into the programme. The participants are paired with 10 host labs at LMU Munich, the MPI Institutes of Biochemistry, Biological Intelligence, and Psychiatry, the LMU Klinikum, the Institute for Stroke and Dementia Research (ISD), and the Helmholtz Center Munich.

The programme will start with our traditional Opening Retreat in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, where scholars are introduced to the LMU site staff, affiliated faculty, and relevant research topics, before joining the labs on July 2nd.
