Presenting the LMU Munich Amgen Scholars in 2015

The 21 scholars were selected from 429 applicants. With 9 male and 12 female participants, they bring a total of 14 nationalities into the programme and their countries of origin are as far as Canada, USA and Malaysia. Scholars are paired with 19 participating labs this year at LMU, TU München, MPI Institutes and the Helmholtz Center in Munich.

The programme started with the traditional Opening Retreat, where scholars were introduced to the LMU site staff, affiliated faculty, and relevant research topics.
