In the 2010 programme, 27 Amgen Scholars from 13 countries conducted 8 weeks of hands-on research in laboratories at LMU Munich within the fields of biochemistry, structural, molecular, cell, and developmental biology, cellular and organismic neurobiology, computational neuroscience, cancer research and physiological sciences.
Participating institutions include the LMU Biocenter, LMU Medical Center, Gene Center, Bernstein Center of Computational Neuroscience, the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences, Center for Neuropathology, Center for Integrated Protein Science (CIPSM), the Technical University as well as the Max Planck Institutes (MPI) of Neurobiology, Biochemistry and Psychiatry.
